Kogarah Ballroom established 25 years ago and specialises in dance instruction for ballroom, latin, salsa, and new vogue.

In 2007, we moved from Princes Highway into our brand new complex at 348 Rocky Point Road, Ramsgate, N.S.W., as shown.

The dance centre has a beautiful new floor with extensive mirrors, state of the art sound system, fully air-conditioned and with full facilities.

Joan Miller, principal of Kogarah Ballroom, together with her husband Ken have won many titles in their competitive career, some of which were:

• Placed 13th at the world latin championships in Japan
• Placed 14th at the world ballroom championships in Japan
• South pacific champions
• Asian pacific champions
• 7 times national professional champions
• Joan won "Queen of the Ballroom" at the world championships in Japan

 

Classes:

Levels to suit everyone. Adult advanced 7 pm To 8 pm Every Tuesday.
Adult beginners 8 pm To 9 pm Every Tuesday.
Adult intermediate 9 pm To 10 pm Every Tuesday.

Private Lessons:

By appointment from beginners to professionals - 60 minutes or 30 minute lessons

Groups:

If your timetable doesn't allow you to attend a scheduled class, or, if you feel a little shy about doing a class with other people, then why not create your own group

• For practice, couples pay only $10 for floor space to practice, while Kogarah ballroom is open, except when classes are on.
